2008 Prayer Points

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING

1. Thank the Lord for the lives of our General Overseer, Pst. E. A. Adeboye & family.

2. Thank God for the lives of all our leaders and elders.

3. Let us thank God for the wisdom the Lord had granted our leaders in the running of the church worldwide.

4. Thank God for fulfilling the covenants He made with our founder in our lives and in all our churches.

5. Thank God for witnessing another month of legacy.

PRAYER FOR OUR LEADERS

1. Ask God to grant our elders long life and good health.

2. Father, let our church leaders always be examples of wisdom and power of God. Grant them to speak God’s word with boldness and be confident.

3. Let us come against the counsel of the devil against our leaders.

4. Lord, make our leaders useful vessels and Let them walk in fear and reverence of the Lord.

5. Ask God to be their refuge, strength and deliverer in Jesus name.

6. We counter every attempt by the enemy to shut the doors that the Lord has opened unto our leaders and RCCG worldwide.

7. Let every demon of lukewarmness, coldness, spiritual apathy, spiritual dryness, and fear of prayer be cast out of the lives of our church members.

8. Father, give our leaders utterance and audience anytime they approach your presence. 

9. Lord, send confusion to the camp of those plotting your ministers’ downfall, and continue to be with them as a mighty, terrible one.

GENERAL

1. The generation of new redeemers will not despise the custom of the founder of this great church in Jesus’ name. Acts 28:17

2. Pray against the spirit of worldliness in the church. 1Jhn 2:15-17

3. Pray for the outpouring of anointing for increase and greatness over every member.

Thank Him for the beginning of abundance, peace, joy, unity and increase in our lives and every member of RCCG WORLDWIDE in this year of the “The Next Level”.
