Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the RCCGNA Headquarters

December 2016 – Reach out and touch someone with a healing hand this season

"Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength." (Acts 3:6-7)

This story is about the man born lame. Daily, his friends carried him to the Temple gates where he begged for alms for 40 years. (Acts 4:22). One day, two apostles met him and instead of giving him money, they announced to him God’s Salvation. “Silver and gold have I none,” but “In the name of Jesus Christ,” stand up and walk! Because of the word of direction and a powerful decree, he was healed “immediately.”  Sometimes it is not enough to speak the healing word, it is a necessary act of true faith to lend a physical helping hand.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has the habit of touching people. In Lk. 5:13, he touched the leper, he “touched the brier…” of the man of Nain (Lk. 7:14) and he touched the ear of the servant of the High Priest. In these touches, Christ taught us the need for human touch in divine intervention. It was a human hand that rolled away the stone from Lazarus’ tomb. (John 11:39-41). God will do what we cannot do only after we have done what we should.

After our prayers, there is a need for a second move: there is a need for physical helping hands. (1 John 3:17-18; James 2:14-17).  Your words may be the ignition switch; it is your hands that move the gears, to release the Miracle. The Man STOOD, and WALKED, and ENTERED with them into the temple praising God!

Peter spoke a word of power, and he gave a hand of the miracle. In this Christmas season, we must do the same. Do something in the physical to activate something in the spiritual. Stretch out a visible hand to activate His invisible Hand. Be like Jesus and stretch out your hands to the hopeless. Give strength to the weak and encouragement to the weary.

In Conclusion: As you touch people, pray for them and release His gifts.
As you ask God for water, He will give you an ocean…*
As you ask God for a flower, He will give you a garden…*
As you ask God for a friend, He will give Himself to YOU...
Praise God in your Happy moments.
Seek Him in Your Difficult moments.
Worship Him in Your Quiet moments.
Trust Him in Your Painful moments.
Give Thanks to Him at All Times.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year of Complete Restoration in Jesus’ Name!
